Position: Coldest Night of the Year Dinner Logistician

Are you a whiz with details, care about bringing community together, and great with working a diverse group of people? We want you!

The Role

Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to coordinate the dinner served during the Coldest Night of the Year event. You will coordinate volunteers, liase with food vendors, create a welcoming environment, and generally be an awesome shining star of a person while feeding approximately 200 cold walkers. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, set-up, and tear down of the dinner with support from the Choices Fund Development and Communications team.

The Time

10 -15 hours a week for the month of February.

Volunteer Positions – Coldest Night of the Year Volunteer team!

Do you love to smile, lend a helping hand, and say hi to strangers on the street? We want you!

The Role

Choices is hosting the Coldest Night of the Year event on February 21st and we need a team of stellar volunteers to make it happen! You could be a road marshall, holding a sign pointing our walkers where to go, or handing out hot chocolate at our warm-up station. You could check families in at registration, or help us set up tables for dinner. There are so many roles to fill, and we would love for you to fill one! And bring a friend!

Volunteer Position – Fund Development Administration Linchpin

Do you like origami, stamps, and nice handwriting? Are you organized, focused, and detail oriented? Great, we want you!

The Role

Ok, we’ll admit this role has a lot to do with sending mail. The Choices Fund Development and Communications team sends out an unbelievable amount of mail each month, and we need your help to keep us churning it out. However, there’s lots of room to take on additional responsibility depending on your interest and availability. Let’s talk!

5 hours a week for as long as possible, but it’s flexible.
