Neighbourhood community store celebrated it's third anniversary in August 2021
Neighbourhood is a Choices for Youth (CFY) social enterprise that offer at-risk youth the opportunity to gain meaningful employment experiences in a positive space. With training in all aspects of operating Neighbourhood, youth are trained in a wide range of retail skills while also receiving direct support from our CFY staff. The skills and confidence gained is a critical part of their journey towards stability and independence in their lives.
Every purchase you make directly supports the at-risk and homeless youth. In addition to supporting youth working at Neighbourhood, you are supporting the range of services and programs offered by Choices for Youth.
Neighbourhood celebrated their third birthday by hosting a block party at their store location, located on 38 Pearson Street, with a $2 sale, live entertainment, a BBQ and a revamped store layout! The block party was a huge success, with lots of great finds and even better deals. Our FDC team stopped by to celebrate and scored some great pieces from Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss!
